Job Description

  • Initiate and review projects cost & feasibility Study.
  • Prepare, negotiate and analyse costs submitted by tenderers.
  • Review terms and conditions of contracts then advise management.
  • Prepare and/or review bills of quantities and compile tender documents. 
  • Handle and scrutinise quantity take-off, materials sourcing, product specifications, and labour costs.
  • Represent Client to liaise with contractors and consultants.
  • Attend project site meetings with project team, understand project status and requirements.
  • Responsible for both pre-contract to post-contract activities.
  • Manage and control budget, costs, and wastage.
  • Control budget, cash flow, contract payments and accurate settlement of final accounts.
  • Foresee potential risks in the project and take precautions to mitigate.
  • Perform Site valuation, check and validate completed work and prepare claim settlement.
  • Control and coordinate Request For Variation (RFV).
  • Perform claims and dispute management when necessary.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess a Diploma/Advanced/Post Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in construction and development field.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Methodical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Great financial and numeracy management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
  • Candidate will act as Quantity Surveyor/Contract Executive for this position.

Job Description

  • Liaise with the sub-con, main contractor, and consultants, attend the site meetings as and when required and to ensure all works are carried as per drawings and specifications.
  • To ensure all progress of works are completed timely and follow the specifications and standards required.
  • To supervise and coordinate sub-contractor’s daily activities at project site.
  • To implement all policies, activities, procedures, and safety inspections on site as required.
  • Prepare weekly progress reports and coordinate the implementation of the contracts.
  • To control wastage and delivery of material to site and coordinate ordering of electrical material etc.
  • Liaise with quantity surveyors to monitor costs.
  • Ensuring construction and site safety.
  • Prepare, check and scrutinise site reports, designs and drawings.
  • Maintaining quality control procedures.
  • Assess and minimise work risks.

Requirements 

  • Possess Diploma/Professional Certificate in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or relevant disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in construction field.
  • Full time position.
